This week is full of fun astrological events!

First, on June 2nd at 12:12 PM MST, Jupiter is trine to Pluto. Seven hours later, Mercury is entering Gemini. And then, on the evening of the 3rd (which is also my birthday), Mercury will be trine to Pluto, and Mercury and Jupiter will be conjunct.

So…what does all this mean?

Let’s break it down.

First, let’s talk about trines.

Trines are flowy, harmonious aspects in which the two planets work together seamlessly, like a hose fully opening so the water can flow through smoothly. It’s not forcing anything – just providing the space for flow to occur.

This happens because the planets are in two signs of the same element. This week, both trines are happening in the element of air, between Gemini and Aquarius.

Air signs love to think, relate, and share ideas. Gemini is curious about everything, and Aquarius takes Gemini’s ideas and makes something truly innovative out of them. This week is a time when ideas, thoughts, and communication flow with ease and grace.

Now that we’ve covered that, let’s go into the transits!

Jupiter in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius

When Jupiter, the planet of expansion, meaning-making, and wisdom works together with Pluto, the planet of depth, intensity, and honesty, there’s the potential to generate innovative and transformative ideas. However, a trine doesn’t make things happen, so it’s up to you to take advantage of this flowy time.

Mercury enters Gemini

Mercury loooves to be in its home sign of Gemini. Mercury is quick and wants to communicate and share ideas. Gemini’s curiosity, quick thinking, and communicative nature is a perfect fit for Mercury. Until June 17th, when Mercury enters Cancer, ideas and conversation will flow like beer at a late spring party.

Today is a great time to think deep thoughts, have transformative conversations, and/or write your heart out.

June 3rd (aka my birthday 🎉)

Mercury in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius

Mercury, the planet of thoughts and curiosity, working with Pluto’s intense, penetrating energy, creates an opportunity to get to the heart of the matter.

Jupiter conjunct Mercury in Gemini

Jupiter is wisdom. Mercury is thoughts. Jupiter is belief creation. Mercury is fact collection. Jupiter says, “Go big or go home.” Mercury says, “Visit your neighbors, then go home.”

They’re both associated with ideas and understanding the world. When they meet, it’s like a college professor and an elementary school teacher collaborating on a project.

This a great day to share ideas, think big thoughts, and be open to abundant messages from the universe. And to get curious about what’s going on in the depths of your psyche. (Also to celebrate your favorite Gemini’s birthday! 🥳)

I’m trying out a new thing. (Could it be the Pluto/Jupiter trine’s influence?) Instead of having you pull a tarot card in this email, I’m going to devote a shorter email to that next Tuesday.
