📖 If you’re just joining us, in the past few emails I’ve been sharing about my journey from shuffling away Death card readings to finally listening to what the universe had been trying to tell me about my marriage.

Last time, I told you about the scattered blocks that became my wake-up call – the moment I realized I couldn’t let my daughter learn that love means dimming your light. The day I decided I’d had enough and needed to make a big change.

I didn’t move out that day, but as I drove down the road leading away from my mountain home, I knew that nothing would EVER be the same. And it wasn’t.

But here’s what I didn’t expect when I drove away that day:

The thing I’d feared most about leaving my marriage – being alone – would become the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself.

See, part of why I stayed so long was fear of having to date again. Of never finding another partner. Of somehow failing at love.

As I dove deeper into astrology, I started to understand the patterns that had led me there. My Scorpio Moon opposite my Chiron in Taurus told a story I’d been living out without realizing it:

I kept choosing men who needed healing, thinking that if I could just fix them, I would finally feel worthy of love myself.

Sound familiar? Sometimes the very thing that feels like it’s protecting us (staying in a marriage, trying to heal others) is actually keeping us from what we really need (learning to love ourselves).

That’s the magic of understanding your birth chart – it’s like having a cosmic map of your patterns, showing you not just where you’ve been, but where you could go instead.

Over the next few years, as I learned to work with my chart instead of against it, something unexpected happened:

I fell in love with myself.

Not in a “self-care Sunday” superficial way. But in a deep, “I actually enjoy my own company” way. In a “I don’t need to fix anyone else to feel whole” way.

These days, my life looks nothing like what I thought it “should”:

• I’m thriving as a single mom, creating the kind of relationship with my daughter that I always craved myself
• I’ve built a business doing work that lights me up (helping other people fall in love with themselves using tarot and astrology!)
• And most surprisingly? I’m not desperately seeking partnership because I’ve found something better – genuine love and acceptance for myself.

Looking back, I can see how every transit, every tarot reading, every scattered block was leading me here. Not to a perfect life, but to an authentic one.

Sometimes what looks like a failure is actually the universe redirecting you to something better than you could have imagined.

That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping others understand their birth charts. Because beneath the patterns and cycles, your chart reveals something profound: who you truly are and what you truly need.

When you understand yourself at this level, external validation starts to matter less. You begin to trust yourself more. You learn to have your own back.
