a question you've probably asked yourself
sound familiar?

“Why am I so
mean to myself?”

Remember Becky, the bitch in high school who said you’d never get a boyfriend? Or Chris, the abusive boss who micromanaged you within an inch of your life because “you can’t get anything right?” What about Pat, the “spiritual leader” who kicked you out of their community the moment you started asking questions? You left them in the dust years ago…so why are they still living rent free in your head?

You’re not the only one. And there’s actually a really good reason.

Befriend the Zodiac is for people who are thoughtful, self-aware, and still somehow their own harshest critic. Using astrology, tarot, and parts work, we explore why you are the way you are — not to fix you, but to help you understand and love yourself. (Yes, I used the L word.)

Hi, I’m Daniela →

I’m a coach and educator who uses astrology, tarot, and Internal Family Systems work to help people stop fighting with themselves.

Not to turn you into someone else. Not to “heal” the parts of you that feel difficult. But to help you work with all of who you are — the messy, contradictory, brilliant, fully human version.

Because that’s where the real change happens.

Here’s the truth

Loving yourself is actually really hard.

I wish loving yourself was as easy as thinking you loved Rick. You know, the guy who sat next to you in Algebra 1 and copied all of your work but who had the sexiest voice that made your insides melt?

But it’s not.

And there’s actually a really good reason.

When you didn’t get what you needed as a kid, you thought it meant there was something wrong with you. Over time, you developed all sorts of ways to be okay in a world that didn’t always treat you well.

(Btw a lot of us do this even if we have great parents and a lot of privilege. Not getting our needs met is just a part of being a human.)

You created ways of talking to yourself that are really mean. You didn’t do this because you’re fucked up. You did it to protect yourself from things like failure and rejection.

journaling for self-reflection and inner work

You built up brilliant ways to keep yourself "safe" like...

  • Changing the subject when things get too personal. Or avoiding people who seem to actually want to see the real you. Or choosing guys like Rick.
  • Never starting the business…because if it’s a dream at least it didn’t mean you failed.
  • Stopping the creative project halfway through, telling yourself it’s impractical and selfish to do creative work when you could be making money, watching the kids, or taking care of your partner.

You are so brilliant and creative. Look at all the systems and mechanisms you made for staying safe!

Now let’s apply that brilliance to loving yourself more than Westley loved Buttercup.

Let’s use that creativity to build up your self-trust. That way, the next time you decide to do some “crazy” different thing, you’ll have your own back.

The approach

How do we do this?

Four things that work together to shift you from internal warfare to internal collaboration.

Love Letters From Your Higher Self

A private podcast for when you just need to escape your own head

You know that feeling when your brain is attacking you and you just need to escape? So you open Instagram, pour a glass of wine, or eat the cookies. Or all 3. And honestly? Sometimes that does soothe you in the moment. But it doesn’t change what’s going on inside.

And afterwards, you’ve wasted 3 hours watching other people’s dogs, you feel uncomfortably full, there are crumbs everywhere, and you have to go buy another bottle of wine. And whatever was bothering you is still there, ready to torture you while you’re trying to fall asleep.

What if you had something in your back pocket that actually speaks to the part of you that’s struggling?

I’m not here to tell you what to do or fix anything. These are intuitively guided mini sessions using tarot to help you hear from the wisest, most loving part of yourself.

12 episodes. All yours. Listen whenever you need them.

Season 1 — Danielle’s story

Danielle came to our first session wanting to finish a book.

After her kidneys failed in childbirth and she was forced to stop working, she found meaning in writing. First a memoir. Then a YA novel about middle school bullying. She was stuck on both.

She left that session with something she didn’t expect: permission to expand. Three weeks later, she’d finished the novel.

But that’s just the beginning of the story.

“Daniela was pure magic.”

My experience working with Daniela was transformational! She channeled her intuitive gifts through astrology, tarot, and guided visualization. I was able to uncover deeper alignment within myself as she guided me through a journey of self-healing, inner expansion, and finding clarity for some decisions that had been weighing heavily on my heart and mind.

“It’s like having multiple sources confirm you’re not making things up.”

Her combination of astrology and tarot provides incredible validation for what you’re already sensing inside. What surprised me most is that she doesn’t tell you what to do. Instead, she supports you at your own pace and helps you trust yourself. When unexpected life challenges came up, her approach gave me permission to slow down and sit still when needed.

“A conduit of wisdom from both depths: the universe and the earth.”

Daniela brings tremendous knowledge and empathy to every interaction. She brings a vibe of grounded-ness and real-talk, while using astrology and tarot as tools for guidance to help take next-steps and find personal clarity in this hyper-noisy world. Her perspective is a gift. Do it!
