Letting go of things and making sudden changes fits really well with the eclipse season we’re moving into. This eclipse season begins on Sunday, with a lunar eclipse at 5 degrees of Libra.

This eclipse brings an opportunity to let go of things that aren’t serving you. And…sometimes, eclipses actively force you to let go, even if you don’t feel ready, so it may not feel like an “opportunity” as much as a kick in the butt. 😬 (But it’s an ass-kicking in service of your evolution, so the more you’re willing to let go of things that aren’t for you, the less it will hurt.)

During this eclipse season, Chiron, the wounded healer, is right there in the mix. So the eclipses may bring events that touch on your lifelong wounds. Chiron work hurts. But Chiron is powerful too. Because your oldest, deepest wounds provide the fuel for the work you’re meant to do in the world.

This eclipse is occurring at 5 degrees of fiery, courageous, independent Aries. Aries is a cardinal sign. Whenever a big transit impacts a sign of a certain modality, it impacts all the signs in that modality, so if you have planets or chart angles at 5 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and/or Capricorn, these eclipses will likely have a greater impact on you personally.
