On Monday at 3:13 AM MDT, the Sun will be conjunct to Uranus, the planet of authenticity and rebellion. Some astrologers call Uranus the Great Disrupter. I call it the weirdo of the planets.

Uranus is the planet that shakes things up to facilitate our freedom. It’s the voice inside that says, “I know how most people do things, but that’s not how I want to do them.”

And, when Uranus traverses an important part of your birth chart, whether it’s a planet or an angle, events will happen that help you say yes to your inner weirdo, whether you want to or not.

Your inner weirdo doesn’t have to be conventionally weird. In fact, that’s likely not the case.

Examples of your inner weirdo include:

• The part of you that would actually rather not go to that party, even though you feel like you should.
• Your conviction that you don’t actually care about having a gigantic email list, even though the online gurus tell you it should be your ultimate goal.
• The inner knowledge that you really don’t want to stay in your current job, even though it’s easy and pays well.

Uranus is the part of you that throws off social conditioning in favor of getting in touch with what you really want and who you really are.

That’s not to say that this transit is going to be hugely disruptive for you. If Uranus isn’t hitting a planet or angle in your chart, it may feel like a temporary boost for your authentic self. If Uranus is hitting something in your chart, this transit may shake things up a bit more for you for a few days.

Either way, take this as an opportunity to connect to the part of you that wants to be freer and more authentic.

P.S. You may be wondering how my dog Kumba is doing since his lymphoma diagnosis. He’s getting chemo and doing really well so far! He actually loves going to get chemo because he gets to see a lot of people and dogs. His lymphoma symptoms are going away, too. I’m hoping for a quick and long remission. P.P.S. I always pick the weekly tarot cards by putting my Notion tarot deck into shuffle mode and picking random cards. I noticed that all of the cards this week are connected to letting yourself receive care and abundance, even when you don’t think you deserve it.
